ABOUT THE BLOG

The Story

I was inspired to write this blog for two reasons: my passion for music and my ambition to become a journalist. I have been playing the guitar since I was in primary school and there is almost nothing I would rather be doing than jamming along to my favourite songs or shredding a solo. Going to Community Festival in London last year and, more recently, watching Ten Tonnes in Bristol helped fuel my passion for all music (especially live music!). I love listening to music, playing music and even writing my own pieces. My other main passion is writing; I have always dreamed of becoming a journalist for a big magazine or newspaper. I wanted to write a blog to help me practice my writing but I wanted to write it about something I am truly passionate about. So much happens in the world everyday, I felt I needed to choose one topic to focus my writing on. I’m interested in photography, drama, the environment and the outdoors but there is nothing I am more passionate about but the music I play and the music I listen to.
